It did away with adverts marketing agents screen from other browsers that are tuned to peoples browsing habits. I am not comfortable seeing adverts for things I had searched for and did not want to see any further adverts of things I had viewed online, while casually browsing on eBay, Facebook Marketplace or elsewhere, but the Brave browser company, although running adverts to their user's screens, reward their registered users with tokens for allowing the ads to be displayed on their screens.
