They take for granted what they are told, taught or shown because they were led to believe what they know. The fact is that what is taught is not always right, correct, or true. The education system is not necessarily poorly set out but it can certainly be updated. The media buys its news material from news sources. That is why what is published on different channels is similar but not the same. You believe what you want to believe, but that does not mean you know all the details surrounding what you learned. Take one's memory as an example. It only holds onto what one can remember momentarily. Because you know one answer to a question does not imply you are right or wrong.
